Françoise Hardy: De Autobiografie (364p.)

Add up Britney, Christina, and Gaga, and they still don’t make half a Françoise Hardy, of whom I became an instant fan many years ago, when I saw footage on television of her 1963 acceptance of an Edison, a prize she graciously accepted while absorbing Godfried Bomans‘ banter.

In her De Autobiografie, she speaks at length about her career in music, her marriage to Jacques Dutronc and marriage in general, her motherhood, her anxieties, and astrology. A good read, something different for a change, and the feminine perspective.
